Quantum integrated optics is a key technology in quantum information science that leverages photonic circuits on a chip to generate, manipulate, and detect single photons. Instead of using bulky optical setups, integrated optics provides compact, stable, and scalable platforms. These chips can integrate waveguides, beam splitters, phase shifters, and detectors to realize complex quantum operations.

We have developed technological methods and skills for the fabrication and characterization of photonic and quantum devices on different photonic platforms (i) laser-written optical circuits on glass, nonlinear optics on a thin film (ii) Silicon Nitrite on insulator (SiNOI), and (iii) Lithium Niobate on insulator (LNOI), fiber coupling and imaging
